Stopping their car at the roadside, Ray shoots Mr C. Sinister woodsmen from the Black Lodge materialise and tear at Mr C’s body, revealing an orb containing the evil entity known as Bob. Ray flees and calls Jeffries, concerned that Mr C may have survived. Back in the woods, Mr C awakes…

At White Sands, New Mexico on July 16th, 1945, the first atomic bomb is detonated. The event shatters reality, enabling a demonic creature to release Bob into the universe. These events are watched by the Giant in a cinema within the building in the purple sea; he levitates and releases a golden mist and an orb containing Laura Palmer's face. The Giant’s companion, Señorita Dido, sends the orb to Earth…

In the New Mexico Desert on Augst 8th, 1956, a strange bug/frog creature hatches from an egg. It is found by a young couple as they go home. The Woodsmen arrive in the desert; one enters the ‘KPJK’ radio station, kills the staff and then broadcasts a bizarre message that renders listeners unconscious.
